Glass Types for Your Wood Door

There are many different types of glass that can be used for exterior doors. Each type has its own unique properties and benefits:

Clear glass is the most common type of glass for exterior doors. It lets in the most natural light and gives your home a bright, airy feel. Insulated glass is made up of two panes of glass separated by an air pocket. It helps to keep your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, making it a more energy-efficient option. Low-E glass is similar to insulated glass, but it also has a low-emissivity coating that helps to reflect heat back into your home. This makes it even more energy-efficient than insulated glass. Textured glass adds a touch of privacy and style to your home. It's available in a variety of textures, from etched frost to beveled glass.
