Primed Stile & Rail Catalog

Primed Doors Construction Primed stile and rail doors are wood components joined together with dowel pins. The stiles and rails have an engineered wood core covered with an MDF veneer creating an excellent surface for painting. Constructing a door with different components brings definition that cannot be replicated by a molded door.

Veneer: An MDF veneer is permanently bonded to the engineered wood core, eliminating dents, dings, and gouges which makes a superior paint surface.

Rail: The horizontal component of the door, crafted with a solid engineered core for lasting performance.

Stile: The stiles have a solid wood engineered core for added strength, stability, and reduced sound transmission.

Solid Engineered Core Built for strength and stability, stiles and rails feature a solid engineered core, with some doors using wood block or wood stave for added durability.

Panel/Glass: Flat and Raised Panels are made with MDF for a smooth paint finish, stability, and comply with no added formaldehyde regulation.

Dowel Pins: Traditional dowel pins securely join the stiles and rails, reinforcing the door’s strength.
