Exterior Wood Doors Introduction

WaterBarrier ® Doors Included as part of the Performance Series® doors is the WaterBarrier Series. WaterBarrier doors combine a Medium Density Overlay (MDO) with water-resistant glazing beads and bars to create an exterior that stops water in its tracks. WaterBarrier technology gives the highest protection on the exterior of the door while getting the unmatched beauty of a real Fir door on the inside. They incorporate all the benefits of Performance doors as well so the entire bottom of the door is protected against moisture penetration: » UltraBlock® Technology which is a water-resistant composite block added to the bottom of both door stiles. » Weather Seal TM process where glue is applied along the entire coped area of the stile blocking water absorbtion and enhancing the glue joints. » Solid Bottom Rail: all Performance Doors stocked by Reeb are manufactured with a solid bottom rail. Solid lumber is very durable especially in this vulnerable area of the door. In addition to advanced durability they have exquisite detail and feature a double hip raised panel and have the choice to include a variety of glass options. Any divided lites with a 7/8” SDL bar will feature an internal shadow spacer. All WaterBarrier doors feature 5-1/2” stiles. They feature a 5-year limited warranty and can be used in any exposure with no overhang required.
